UNPACKING

Unpack the instrument carefully. Make sure all components

have been removed from the foam protection. Inspect all

components for damage. Report any concealed damage to

the carrier within 24 hours. Check the contents of the car-

ton/crates against the packing slip and report any discrep-

ancies to Magnetrol. Check the nameplate model number

MOUNTING

These units are in conformity with the

provisions of:

1. The EMC Directive: 89/336/EEC.

The units have been tested to EN

61000-6-4/2001 and EN 61000-6-

2/2001.

2. Directive 94/9/EC for Equipment or protective system for

use in potentially explosive atmospheres. EC-type exam-

ination certiﬁcate number ISSEP06ATEX024X (intrinsic

safe units) or ISSEP06ATEX010 (EEx d units).

3. The PED directive 97/23/EC (pressure equipment direc-

tive). Safety accessories per category IV module H1.

Note: if ordered from the factory with the Magnetic Level Indicator the transmitter will be attached to the gauge and conﬁgured

for the application.
